A new medical product from Austin-based Genesys Spine has been recognized for a design that aims to simplify cervical spine surgery and reduce patient time on the operating table. The innovative new product, called the Binary Anterior Cervical Plate, is one of four winners in the Implant and Tissue-Replacement Products category at the 18th annual Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) competition in New York June 9.
