1. Generous windows provide visualization for both the disc space and vertebral endplate.
2. Variable screws allow for up to 47 degrees cephalad-caudad and up to 27-degree medial-lateral articulation.
3. Screws offered in both fixed angle and variable angle
4. Ratchet mechanism to prevent screw backout and counter-rotation
5. Low-profile, smooth, tapered edges
6. Patented Zero-Step Helios Technology locking mechanism provides audible, tactile, and visual feedback.
Screw Trajectory
The individual Helios Technology locking mechanism allows each screw to have up to 47° cephalad-caudad angulation and up to 27° medial-lateral angulation.
Designed for simplicity
The Binary Anterior Cervical Plate System was designed for ease of use and reduced operation time. This cervical plate features a state-of-the-art locking mechanism that uses our proprietary Helios Technology.
Hear it, feel it, see it
The Helios lock provides the surgeon with audible, tactile, and visual confirmation that the screw is captured by the lock. The Binary Anterior Cervical Plate has a smooth low-profile design and incorporates lordotic curvature to minimize plate contouring by the surgeon during the procedure.
Helios Technology for Anti-Rotation and Anti-Back-Out
The Helios Technology locking mechanism allows the lock to open as the screw head passes during screw insertion and then return to its original position, capturing the screw head. The interface between the Helios lock and cervical screw resists both counter-rotation and screw back-out.
Screw Selection
The Binary Anterior Cervical Plate System provides self-drilling, self-tapping 3.75mm primary and 4.25mm recovery screws in both fixed and variable options.
The star drive screws are color coded for ease of identification.
